Obama's State of the Union Address

On January 24, 2012, Barrack Obama, President of the United States, addressed the nation on some very serious points. He told the nation how he is going to help fellow Americans with creating more jobs and tax cuts to most people. He wants America to be the best and that's what he is striving for. He wants exports to increase and imports to decrease. He wants to spend money getting rid of the debt that our country has. He wants us to be able to make our own energy or at least most of it, so we can be more independent. He wants to make 60,000 jobs a year by using natural gas. He wants the unemployed to become employed and make money. He needs Congress to help him though. And he knows that it could be his last state of the union address. But even if it is I know he is going to help America be the best country to live in whether he is president or not.

Packers lose in NFC Divisional to the Giants, 37-20

About a week ago many people would have said that the green bay packers are going to repeat. But much to their astonishment they were wrong. The Green Bay packers were the number one seed in the NFC and had the best record going into the playoffs. They had only lost one game the whole year in an remarkable upset by the Chiefs. Some would say that the game was all their own fault. Me being a Packer fan and all were at the game and was waiting to see a shootout until the end with an amazing win by the packers. But I was wrong. The packers fumbled the ball, dropped wide open passes, and had more blown coverages since the rose bowl. They were beaten by the New York Giants, a team that looked better and more sound that night. The packers lost the game 37-20. They only have themselves to blame, in this game. Hopefully next year with starting wide receiver, and pro bowler, Donald Driver they can go win another championship and add to the 13 world championship tally.
