On January 24, 2012, Barrack Obama, President of the United States, addressed the nation on some very serious points. He told the nation how he is going to help fellow Americans with creating more jobs and tax cuts to most people. He wants America to be the best and that's what he is striving for. He wants exports to increase and imports to decrease. He wants to spend money getting rid of the debt that our country has. He wants us to be able to make our own energy or at least most of it, so we can be more independent. He wants to make 60,000 jobs a year by using natural gas. He wants the unemployed to become employed and make money. He needs Congress to help him though. And he knows that it could be his last state of the union address. But even if it is I know he is going to help America be the best country to live in whether he is president or not.http://useconomy.about.com/od/Politics/p/Obama-State-Of-The-Union-Address-2012-Summary.htm
I always here people saying "Oh Obama hasn't done anything" and other stuff like that, that's BS. He did accomplish quite a bit in in his term so far, even with the republicans being stubborn and vetoing most of what he tried to do. Also he was left a huge mess by our last president and had to spend time trying to clean it up.
ReplyDeleteHe had a good point at the end. America needs to start working together if anything is going to get done.
ReplyDeletehe did a good job with his speach
ReplyDeleteWhat he says about the military and working together and everything is good and he shows in this that he knows what the country needs in order to work together and succeed.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what Obama says the Republicans in the house are going to disagree with it, and if a Republican is elected president, the democrats aren't going to agree with it. This is getting us no where as a country as a whole, in this next year I think Obama's biggest job should be trying to unite the two party's in someway or some form, because you can compare it to a sports team where if there is constant disagreements between the players then they start to lose, but if they come together and work as a team they will start to win games. Same exact thing goes for congress.
ReplyDeleteThere will always be two arguing sides.
