Human remains were thought to be found in Texas; Hailey Dunn
went missing more than a year ago. Police reported that they had found human
remains one mile from Hailey’s moms ex boyfriend, Shawn Adkins. Adkins is the
only person of interest at the time. When police investigated Adkins he had
failed at completing three lie detectors. Hailey Dunn was the only person home
in Colorado City during the time. During the investigation Adkins told a
witness that killing a young girl was like “Killing a deer” which a hobby of
Adkins. Billie Jean Dunn Hailey’s mother said that on the night of her daughter’s
disappearance she and her boyfriend had take out $140 out of the ATM to by
illegal narcotics that night.
